The Donna Adelson murder trial over the 2014 death of Florida State University law professor Dan Markel continues Aug. 29.
Donna Adelson is charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy and solicitation in the contract killing of Markel, her former son-in-law. Prosecutors contend that after Wendi Adelson and Markel’s acrimonious divorce, the Adelson family wanted him out of the way so she could relocated to South Florida with their two children.
