Test Drive Scene with the New Live Action Theme | How To Train Your Dragon

With the recent release of the live action movie of How To Train Your Dragon, undoubtedly came with a live action version of the iconic Test Drive scene. And hence a new version of the Test Drive soundtrack, again composed by John Powell.
After adding different versions of the "Forest Battle" soundtrack over the scene in Transformers 2, I thought to do the same with Test Drive.
The new soundtrack is just as beautiful and iconic as the original, with (in my opinion) a more grounded and smoother feel, and a slightly more complex orchestration.
I have no experience with music composition, but what I found more interesting was how the soundtrack suggests the differences in the new live action scene compared to the animated. There are two new sections of the score that the original didn't have.
They repeated the letimotif of toothless and hiccup one more time before Hiccup dropped his instruction manual, and added a part with mainly vocals before they keep falling. I haven't seen the movie yet so I don't know what this part could be about.
And the section where toothless and hiccup are gliding/parachuting off the mountain side before flying through the maze of rocks was heavily shortened, most likely because in a live action setting they wouldn't be able to hold the glide for as long as they did in the animated version.
For the two new added sections of the track, I added some footage over it to match the emotion. Otherwise, I matched the original scene very precisely with the new track.

From just editing this, I've learned a lot of new things such as how the music syncs with the video, how they make each cut as subtle as possible, and how some cuts placed in the beginning were purposefully done for later effect in the scene.
It maybe be because I am very new to camera work, but throughout the editing, I couldn't help but admire the camera movement, angles and framing used throughout the scene. There is a reason why this scene is so iconic.
