Ups and Downs is a unique theatre group based in Motherwell, exclusively open to young people with Down Syndrome and their siblings.
Moving, funny and inspirational, this documentary focuses on preparations for the award-winning theatre group's 21st annual show.
We meet 12 year olds Gregor and Matilda, who reveal just how much Ups and Downs means to them as they rehearse for the big night and their coveted solo slots.
Mums Christine and Katy offer very personal and moving insights into bringing up children with the condition, and the impact that Ups and Downs has had on their children's confidence and social lives.
We follow the build up to the sell out shows as Ups and Downs comes of age, and get to see what happens on an off stage as the cast seeks to bring the house down yet again.
