Project Overview:
The Mesa Brasil Sesc Programme (PMBS) was launched in February 2003, with four main objectives, that is, reducing hunger, food waste, developing educational actions and mobilising volunteers. PMBS collects food in surplus locations and distributes this food to civil society organizations that serve vulnerable people. Over the past 3 years, the PMBS has collected and distributed 2,654,088 kilos of food, neutralising 2,227.67 tons of CO2.
In cooperation with Advantage Austria, the award was presented on December 4, 2020.
