Newcomers Little Grandad playing to a full room at Windmill this week
Crazy intense set, you could hear a pin drop during their unison acapella moments. There's quite a few bands doing the Americana thing but there's all sorts of indie / alt rock references here.. for me, I'm getting Bright Eyes.. Elvis Costello.. The Strokes.. The Maccabees.. but uniquely them, with some great pop songs.
I saw their first gig just a few months ago and honestly they were just as good and tight then.
Thanks to the band for the soundboard audio, and to Jack Driscoll for professional mix and master (with a small amount of my recording mixed in for vibez) and to Otis the goat on sound
