This shop press is EXACTLY what I needed -- Most importantly, it is a FIXED RAM, which won't wiggle as you drive it down, unlike the cheap ones with a bottle jack and spring plate. I don't have much space, I didn't need more than ~2 tons of force, I needed a few inches of ram travel, it has opening in the side rails for longer items (metal guitar necks), and I can carry it down the stairs myself!
