🔧 How Does the Lid Labeling & Stacking Machine Work?
Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of the operation:
🏗️ Step 1: Lid Feeding with Loading Elevator
Lids are mass-loaded into the loading elevator (NKLCE-240).
This elevator feeds the lids into the main elevator (NKDCE-240) in a controlled quantity.
⚙️ Step 2: Orientation in Main Elevator
The main elevator features a food-grade plastic modular belt.
Lids are automatically oriented in the correct direction while incorrectly positioned lids fall back into the hopper for re-orientation.
Properly oriented lids move upwards toward the labeling section via a specialized lid chute.
🏎️ Step 3: Labeling on the Conveyor
Lids arrive on a custom-designed conveyor system equipped with lid pucks to stabilize each lid.
Once a lid is sensed by the product sensor, the self-adhesive sticker label is applied precisely on the top surface using the Top Side Labeling Machine (NKSAL-250T).
After labeling, the lid moves under a top axial pressing roller, ensuring the label adheres firmly and without bubbles or misalignment.
📦 Step 4: Lid Stacking Operation
The Lid Stacker Unit (NKLS-240) picks 10 lids at a time in each cycle from the labeling conveyor.
Lids are then placed vertically into a collection stacker for packaging or downstream operations.
This stacking process is powered by a ball screw-based electrical actuator and a servo-driven up/down motion assembly, allowing for quick adjustments based on the required stack height or lid size.
