George Howell, 88, will be throwing the honorary first pitch at the Arkansas-Crimson Tide baseball game on Saturday, May 2. Howell was a star on the 1950 Alabama baseball team that reached the program's first College World Series. Howell has been practicing throughout the week to make sure his throw will cross home plate.
