Rare Steam Train - Blue Peter

In this video, I found myself perched on a fence to get the perfect shot of the iconic Peppercorn Class A2 60532, Blue Peter, as it gracefully loops around the Forth Estuary near Culross in Fife. While this isn't my usual thing, it's all about making the most of every photography opportunity—especially when something as special as a rare steam train passing through your area is announced by the local news.

With my 50-400mm lens and drone in hand, I set out to capture this moment from both ground and sky. I hope this inspires you to get out with your own camera, no matter the circumstances. Sometimes, the best shots come from stepping out of your comfort zone.


This is not an "Accessibility for the Disabled" Channel. Accessible means "ease of access". This channel was set up in response to the many channels where photographers hike for miles over rough ground or climb mountains to get an epic shot. I want Photographers with less fitness or mild mobility issues to see that they can get out and take exciting pictures and enjoy their hobby.
