Nightmare Creatures (PC) Gameplay

Played on Windows 10.

Things I did to get it working:

Installed the game.
DON"T PATCH THE GAME TO VERSION 1.2. KEEP IT AT 1.0. Again, do not patch the game - it introduces a slow down bug.
Run NCSETUP.EXE and make sure all of the settings match this: https://i.imgur.com/Rp4ePfz.png

If you want to run the game without the disc, download this NoCD crack: https://archive.org/details/nc_20230613
Download CNC-DDraw and place all the files into your Nightmare Creatures install directory: https://github.com/FunkyFr3sh/cnc-ddr...
Run cnc-ddraw config.exe and under Compatibly Settings, set Limit Game Speed to 30 ticks per second. Adjust the rest of the settings to your liking.

I've uploaded all the music here if you're using _INMM: https://archive.org/details/nightmare...
Note: Even with _INMM, the music doesn't loop. If you want, you can skip installing _INMM and just mount the disc each time, but you would need to mount it to a drive set to A:. This will retain looping of the music. Or you can go into the Options screen, and turn off then on the music to restart the music track. Convoluted but it works, I guess.
The game should now run.
To get controllers working, use a controller mapping program like Xpadder.
