Hello and welcome back to another video for my play list Boxed Sets and train packs.
LMS 2P and coaches set by Hornby R2172
The model is a tender drive type, in fact the mechanism is identical to the earlier Airfix offering, it’s not the best mechanism in the world but with careful attention the loco performs well.
It’s quite simple with cab detail but not picked out like todays offerings.
Arrived 12/01/2002 from Hattons at £75.00 but this also included three LMS silver roofed coaches in a boxed set numbered 0338 out of a limited edition of 1250
