Mennock Pass Ride & Wild Camp | Scotland

Here we have a motorcycle ride and winter wild camp on a fantastic biking road in Scotland, travelling from Mennock, on the A76 in Dumfriesshires, along the B797 through the Mennock Pass and on to Abington in South Lanarkshire.

The journey is split over two days, with a wild camp on the Mennock Pass, and despite wet and damp conditions I had a great time. The area within Mennock Pass has lots of suitable camping pitches and I will visit in warmer months to really enjoy the location, although as expected for a remote location there are no facilities, therefore we need to be responsible and Leave No Trace of a visit.
