While still at Armoury Studios interviewing Garth, I was lucky enough to catch Ben Kaplan there!

Ben Kaplan is an award winning producer, engineer, musician and a Pro Tools whiz,
Early on Kaplan learned from the legendary Jack Richardson, working on a wide variety of genres in studios across North America and the UK.
He's now based in Vancouver as a Producer, Engineer, Mixer, Programmer and Musician. He's one of the founders of Fader Mountain Sound, formerly the historic Little Mountain Sound.
He has a long list of credits including Mother Mother, Rare Americans, Five Alarm Funk, Bootsy Collins, Snoop Dogg, Shakira, Ninja Spy, Chevelle and Biffy Clyro.
Ben engineered Biffy Clyro’s critically acclaimed album Only Revolutions which was nominated for the UK’s Mercury Award in 2010 as well as their double album Opposites; which garnered the band their first #1 album in the UK.
To add to his credits, Kaplan was awarded the Jack Richardson Producer of the Year Juno in 2020 and won the Audio Engineering Award at the Western Canadian Music Awards in 2019.
