Prayer Focus for Today: Cover Your Secret Place

Pray that your meeting time with God would be consistent and protected. Ask the Lord to establish a routine and rhythm where you meet Him daily. Pray that God would meet you in your secret place, speak clearly, and that nothing would interrupt or replace your time with Him according to Genesis 3:8 ESV And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day…

Pray that your relationship with God would be marked by daily walking with Him, not occasional visits. Ask the Lord to help you make decisions with Him, discern with Him, and move through life aware of His presence. Pray that your obedience flows from intimacy because you walk with God, not ahead of Him according to Genesis 5:24 ESV Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.

Pray that your awareness of God’s presence would extend beyond quiet time into every part of your day. Ask the Lord to help you seek Him throughout your routines, schedule, conversations, and decisions…according to 1 Thessalonians 5:17 ESV Pray without ceasing and Proverbs 3:6 ESV In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
