Low Moor was once a very important junction situated on the outskirts of Bradford. This busy railway location included engine sheds, vast sidings and a station which was open between 1848 and 1965.
A new station opened in 2017 which today is served by trains running between Leeds / Bradford and Manchester / Chester. It is operated by Northern Rail, who provide the bulk of services. The station also has four Grand Central services a day to Bradford and London Kings Cross.
Next to the station are some abandoned sidings which may have been part of a short lived museum from the 1990s.
