Knoll Life office chair armrest DIY reupholster walkthrough

These Knoll brand office chairs are still good except the plastic armrests are disintegrating and gross. Replacement pair of armrests online are $329 (retail price $399), and the entire chair is $475 (retail price $1220). It would be tragic to see the dozens of teacher chairs at my school go to the dumpster just for this, so with some $30 pleather, super glue and binder clips I’ve reupholstered the armrests and given the chairs at least a few more years.
