In this video, I take you on an unforgettable journey to the top of Europe, Jungfraujoch, starting from the beautiful village of Grindelwald. We begin by taking the Eiger Express gondola from Grindelwald Terminal, a modern and scenic cable car that swiftly transports us to the Eiger Glacier station. From there, we hop on the iconic Jungfrau Railway, which climbs through the heart of the Eiger and Mönch mountains, offering breathtaking views, until we finally reach the Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe at 3,454 meters (11,332 feet) above sea level.

At Jungfraujoch, we explore the Ice Palace, the Sphinx Observatory, and the stunning Aletsch Glacier – the largest glacier in the Alps. The experience of standing at the top of Europe is absolutely surreal with panoramic views of snow-covered peaks and vast landscapes.

For the return journey, we take a different and equally spectacular route. Instead of going back through Grindelwald, we descend via the beautiful valley of Lauterbrunnen. From Jungfraujoch, we take the Jungfrau Railway back to Kleine Scheidegg and transfer onto the Wengernalp Railway. This train descends through the picturesque alpine meadows and charming villages of Wengen before reaching Lauterbrunnen. The Lauterbrunnen Valley, with its stunning waterfalls and towering cliffs, offers a completely different but equally captivating landscape.
