[4K60FPS]‼️Shah Alam Stadium Demolished:New World-Class Sports Complex Set for2027 Debut‼️(Malaysia)

The iconic Shah Alam Stadium in Selangor, Malaysia, is undergoing a significant transformation. Demolition of the 80,372-capacity stadium commenced in July 2024 and is expected to conclude by May 2025. This decision follows the stadium being declared structurally unsafe in 2020 due to years of neglect and disrepair.

New Shah Alam Sports Complex (KSSA)

In place of the old stadium, the Selangor state government is developing the Shah Alam Sports Complex (KSSA), a modern facility designed to meet international standards. The project is being executed in three phases:
1. Phase 1 (2024–2026): Demolition of the existing stadium and construction of a new stadium with a capacity of 35,000 to 45,000 seats. The new stadium will feature a retractable roof, indoor humidity control, and an adaptable ‘event mode’ for concerts and other events.
2. Phase 2 (2027): Development of additional facilities, including a closed theatre, youth and sports wing, and recreational areas.
3. Phase 3 (2028–2029): Construction of an integrated terminal and hotel to complement the sports complex.

The entire project is projected to be completed by 2029. The new stadium aims to comply with specifications set by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the International Football Federation (FIFA), ensuring it meets international standards for sports venues.

This redevelopment not only addresses safety concerns but also positions Shah Alam as a hub for sports and entertainment in the region.
