It could be very easy to dismiss the idea of city scenes - particularly those featuring skyscrapers - as being orderly or regimented - perhaps a little bit boring even... or just plain old angular, with lots of very straight lines...

While cityscapes can certainly seem daunting at first glance, a loose, less-disciplined approach is possible (and can be quite fun). Using extracts from watercolour demonstrations of streets in Sydney and Auckland, I hope to show you how...
