I’m a Lego VIP member and Lego had been advertising that if you bought the model early, from Feb 16th, you would receive a special Welcome Pack, with some nice limited edition artwork, a little leather wallet/card holder and a certificate in a presentation box.
I decided to order mine specifically because of that, rather than waiting until March the 1st, when supposedly, they are running a double VIP point promotion.
Sadly, they didn’t make it clear that it was a very, extremely limited offer and they had all gone, by the very early hours of the first day of launch!
In fact even people who bought the set and checked out at only 5 minutes past midnight, didn’t get the pack!! It was that limited and that many people bought it at midnight!!!
So, I’m left very disappointed for that reason, but I shall still Love building the set no doubt.
