Oh my god. Another distraction for me. :XD:


When I randomly found this on Youtube today and had a listen to it I had a huge grin on my face... You know what that means folks... X3


I just LOVE IT when people do their own take of singing to a Sonic the Hedgehog official soundtrack from the video game series (usually the background music to a zone or a stage).


What I love about Speedio322's recording is not only the enthusiasm in his singing (yes there may be some parts that people will find are off-tune but who cares!), but he also RAPPED in not one, but TWO PARTS! ^___^


It's not easy to rap to Sonic soundtracks like these and it's lyrical creativity and application like that makes me go gah gah... XXD You can imagine me going: "Yes! COOL! YEESS! WOOO! ^_____^" when I listened to the rap bits... That's not all, he actually did a very decent job a freestyling it on his own like that! Great job Speedio322!


Anyways when I'm in one of those good moods I just can't help but get inspired to do a recording of my own - this time a cover tribute to someone else who has made one already! XXD


I had loads of fun (like I always do with vocal amateur recordings - Sonic songs with lyrics that is) recording and performing this - it was pretty much in the middle of the night, thank goodness my parents weren't home by then! XD


Anyways hope you'll enjoy my modified version! Not all of his lyrics were changed, I felt the need to make the changes to make certain parts flow better (in my opinion).


Oh and I can't help but say "WOO!!" to the Rap 2 Part - I had an incredible amount of fun doing that bit! Originally I was going to go FULL OUT RAPPING on my own but I felt that it won't do justice if I didn't include the original artist on this one. So at the end I actually added in Speedio322's input and basically interjected during his cameo! XD I thrown in some beatbox sfxs too to illustrate some of the things he said! X3


I think this is the best work yet! I thoroughly enjoyed the audio adjustment/edits to balance the vocals and music. The implementation of Sonic classic and modern SFX's was also done with care which I'm pretty proud of! ^_^


Anyways, it's time for bed, it's getting late. X_X; (Oh and 10 rings to those who can find Vector in the song! XXXD)
