Tom Hiddleston as Salazar Slytherin is the appropriate choice. Tom Hiddleston might seem a too obvious suggestion to play Salazar Slytherin. A cunning and devious wizard who dawns the color of green is certainly not too far from his famous role as Loki in the Marvel universe.
Still, it can’t be ignored that all of Hiddleston’s movies showcase his acting chops for roles like this one. He brings sympathy and depth to characters that some would call antagonistic, which is exactly what Slytherin would need.
