Torque is an Android app that translates data from a vehicle's on-board diagnostics (OBD2) connection for analysis of performance and troubleshooting. The Orion battery management system (BMS) for electic vehicles was designed to work with Torque to monitor battery and vehicle status. Here we briefly review the setup and operation of Torque on a vintage EV (1988 Soleq Evcort) with an Orion BMS.
