Tips for the Perfect Strawberry Jam:
Tip #1: Freeze the strawberries before cooking—this breaks down the fibers and makes them easier to cook.
Tip #2: Instead of skimming off the scum while boiling, try this: once the jam is done, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface, let it cool, and then remove the wrap. This method keeps more of your jam!
Skimming while cooking reduces the final amount, but don’t worry—either way, your jam will still turn out beautifully clear and tasty.
