About our band :

Jawless is a Heavy Stoner Rock band from Bandung, Indonesia and formed at the end of 2019. The initial meeting and the formation of Jawless, precisely in October 2019, at that time Yudha asked for help from one of our colleagues, Lele to find personnel to be made into a band. Finally, in a short time, we gathered and immediately jammed the studio and formed Jawless with members Yudha on Guitar, Toni on Bass and Vocal, Bob on Guitar and Essa on Drums. in the creative process of jawless, we make it a habit not to bring songs from other bands and always discuss the material that we will develop in the studio. until finally our drummer essa got an offer to fill a gig, and it became jawless's first gig to be precise in February. Unexpectedly, our music received a positive response in the gigs. One month later, one of our colleagues from outside Bandung gave an offer to be involved in a tour, but due to Covid-19, the tour was cancelled. to anticipate the existence of covid-19, we also began to focus on completing some of the materials that will be made for our debut album.

With a mix of wild licks/riffs plus a character sound and wrapped with varied power beat progressions. maybe we've got power beat progressions from The Sword, wild licks/riffs from Weedeater and total music passionate from Mötorhead. The lyrics that are packaged always carry stanzas of complaints of anxiety that occur in daily life over an event that occurs. Everything is told through lyrics that can be concluded from each listener's perspective. We bring uplifting energy to our music and also bring imaginative sensations to every piece. And it will bring the audience as if they are in a situation of lyrics and music that we play.

The "Total War Stoner" EP, contains 4 songs, In terms of lyrics, the Total War Stoner EP can be divided into 2 perspectives, the first song in the Total War Stoner EP we called it G.O.D and we called it Metaphorical Speech, which contains lyrics about a ruler who always exalts himself and forgets his responsibilities so that he often make a speech with a sweet packaging and not directly proportional to his actions. The second song, we called it Dark Muzzling, and the fourth song, we called it Restrained, contain lyrics that tell about a condition of the people who are shackled in the difficulties they experience.

"Total War Stoner" EP is a teaser for our upcoming first album our first album will be came out at the end of the year and all the songs on this EP will be included in our first album. the date a live recorded this EP is at March 20, 2021 and we are supported by Auswitch Records. for now we are still working on our first album, progress has reached 75%. we wanted our first album to be able to show more of the Heavy Stoner Rock character we played, so we tried our best to work on it.
