Here's my bass cover of Queensryche's Jet City Woman from their Empire record. I'm a huge fan since my teens, maybe not the toughest thing to play but Eddie Jackson had some great bass lines overall their discography.

One thing to keep in mind on that track there's at least 2 places where he switch from pick playing to finger playing.
To get that edgy tone I've used a Jive JPTR FX pedal.
