Meet Leland — a curious, energetic 5-year-old Black boy with a big dream: becoming a doctor, just like his hero, Dr. Joel Bervell. In these opening episodes, Dr. Joel and Leland go on their first medical adventures together, discovering just how amazing the human body can be — with help from a few cheerful, talking medical tools along the way.

Along the journey, kids also learn how everyday conditions — like rashes, bruises, or allergies — can look different on different skin tones. By learning this early, children build empathy, awareness, and confidence, while being reminded that every skin type is beautiful, powerful, and worth taking care of. 💛🌈✨
