We thought 100 meals would be enough… We were so wrong. 💔

In just 24 hours, we organized a food drive, partnered with a restaurant, and prepared 100 meal packs—each with a heartfelt message: From your Muslim family. We even included Ihkals in Chinese so they could feel a deeper connection.

But when we arrived at the train station, we were overwhelmed. The line of people in need kept growing… and growing. It was heartbreaking to see how many were elderly, disabled, and simply unable to work. People ran to us for food, and we quickly realized we didn’t bring enough.

And then—the police showed up. 🚨 Were we in trouble? Would they make us stop? What happened next completely shocked us.

This experience changed me. It made me realize how much we take for granted—even something as simple as choosing what to eat for Iftar. We argue over restaurants, while others don’t even know when their next meal will be.
