Tangent Segments to a Circle from Same Point are Congruent | Geometry

We prove that tangent segments to a circle that share an exterior endpoint are congruent. Or, said differently, if two segments are drawn from a common exterior point to be tangent to a circle, then they are congruent. We prove this using the fact that a radius is perpendicular to a tangent, and the hypotenuse leg theorem. #Geometry
