Starting with this episode we begin a never-ending journey of solving technical problems in mathematics, physics and computer science, using the problem-solving approaches that we have studied in a dedicated manner across seasons 1 and 2.
Naturally, there will more mathematics on this channel than anything else because mathematics is the foundation of all other technical disciplines.
As such, we open the third season in particular and the sequence of solving problems in general with a problem in mathematics.
In that problem we are asked to prove that a certain relation between two definite Riemann integrals, which, up to a multiplicative constant, pi, are a representation of the so-called Legendre polynomials, holds.
How can this be done?
One way to do so is to go back to the basics and recall our study of the "Transform And Conquer" problem-solving approach.
