We hit Salt Run ready for a solid day on the water… but the water had other plans. From losing a fishing pole, to the kayak pedal drive giving up on me, to the fish acting like they had a secret meeting about avoiding my bait—this one kept me humble.

Still, even a rough day fishing beats a rough day at work any day. And there’s always something to learn, something to laugh about, and something to thank God for.
