Never have I heard a dungeon theme have a bigger feelings of finality than this one. Judgement Day from FF7 comes close though.
Decided not to cut out the battles from the footage to give the song a more "nearing the end" kind of feel. As if to say "we're so determined to stop the evil, not even the battle theme can stop us".
