In a land where the people are ruled by ancient gods and savage traditions, a village is trapped in a cycle of fear and oppression. The chief and a wicked Daughter of the Coast hold the people in their grasp, demanding sacrifices of the innocent to appease their cruel gods.
But when a boy is born under the cover of darkness, a new hope is born. Hidden away from the clutches of the chief and his minions, he grows up in the ways of a new religion that promises freedom from the tyranny of their rule.
Years later, that same boy returns to the village as a man, with the power and knowledge to change everything. He rallies his allies and leads them in a battle against the forces of darkness that threaten to destroy everything they hold dear.
Their fight will determine the fate of the village and its people. The stakes are high, and the cost of failure is the continued oppression and sacrifice of their people. But the man is determined to succeed, even if it means sacrificing everything he holds dear.
