1985 BMW 745i E23 Project Walk Around

Just a short walk around of my new 1985 BMW 745i project car I picked up a few months ago.
I believe this is one of, if not the, lowest optioned BMW 745is produced. The only options I’ve found after decoding the VIN were:
314 - Headed Power Drivers Side Mirror (forgot to mention that in the video)
350 - Thermal Glass - Green
(Also forgot to mention that one)
401 - Electric Sliding Roof
850 - Additional Fuel for Export
860 - Additional Side Markers
Metallic paint was also optional.
So far I haven’t gotten much done to it as I’ve been side tracked with other projects, but I was able to verify it cranks over and builds oil pressure. The fuel pump works, but it does not fire. So far it has no spark but I haven’t been able to look in to that yet. The oddest part is the instrument cluster leads me to believe I may have a bad ECU. Whenever the battery is hooked up the Transmission Fault light comes on immediately even without a key in the ignition…. If the ECU is bad that’s not fun, as they are about $900.
