The Pier You've Been Waiting For: Deerfield Beach Unveils Phase 1

Mayor Todd Drosky is thrilled to announce that Phase 1 of the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier reopening is officially underway! 🎉

✅ The pier is now OPEN and free to enjoy through January.
✅ Nearly 1,000 feet of new railings are installed.
✅ A storm-protective system has been added for long-term sustainability.
✅ New benches, TWO shady pavilions, and a refreshed teal look for the Bait, Tackle & Souvenir Shop are ready to welcome you.

Construction is still in progress! Coming soon in Phase 2:
Completed T-section with upgraded electrical
Public art at fish-cutting stations
A fully stocked shop with fishing gear + DFB merch
