This unique instrumentation highlights the intricate orchestral voices while maintaining the grandeur of the concerto, fostering a collaborative and detailed approach to this masterpiece.”

This performance is part of a larger exploration into rethinking the cello concerto format. Together with my cello class at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, we created a documentary titled Reinventing Cello Concertos – Solo Meets Ensemble, where we share insights into this artistic process.
