For brothers Scott & Todd, hops are a new crop that can help diversify their farm from the corn and soybeans they already grow. So, on a few acres on the edge of the farm stands poles 18 feet high to help the hop plants grow to the sky before filling out with the oily cones that craft breweries are craving in the push to build a large craft beer industry.
