Lyle and Laurel Parker share their experiences building AirCam N106LL and flying it home from Florida to their home airport in Anacortes, Washington. This is from a presentation on November 13, 2021 to EAA Chapter 818 based at the Skagit Regional Airport in Burlington, WA.
Part 1 ( • AirCam N106LL, Intro and Build ) introduces the AirCam and tells Lyle's story of building the airplane at AirCam's Sebring, FL factory. The AirCam video referenced in the presentation is at https://player.vimeo.com/video/290576686.
In part 2, the Parkers share their experiences and photos from the 16-day cross-country trip to bring the airplane home. Lingering weather following the passage of hurricane Ida made this scenic trip a longer and more engaging adventure than originally planned.
