T30 Heavy Tank (USA)
A massive experimental American tank developed at the end of WWII.
Armament: It featured a devastating 155mm T7 gun, designed to destroy heavy bunkers and tanks like the German Tiger II.
Armor: Known for its extremely thick turret armor (up to 279mm).
Fate: Only prototypes were built. It was too heavy (around 65-75 tons) and slow for the evolving requirements of the Cold War, so the project was canceled in 1950.
