A recording of the interview with the BBC Look North show when they came out to interview me about the Auction of Art & Promises that I set up to aid those fleeing Ukraine with their much loved pets and family members.
The auction ran for a week and thanks to the amazing kindness of my fellow artists who rallied so quickly, and to the bidders who were so generous we raised over £13,000 which has already been sent across to help the 2 charities in Romania. Sava's Safe Haven and 1 Dog at a Time Rescue UK. Both charities have been helping refugees at the border since day 1 of the invasion and will continue to aid those that need it for as long as is needed.
