【日本の若手研究者に向けた情報】
HZBは国際的に多様な研究グループを擁するバイリンガル環境のセンターであり、科学プログラムや活動は英語で行われます。ベルリン・ブランデンブルクの活気ある学術界を拠点として博士号志望者（4年間の資金提供）およびポスドクに全額資金提供のポジションと優れた条件を提供しており、包括的なサポート体制を用意しています。HZBはさらに、優れた資格を持つ若手科学者の受け入れ先としても機能します。大学教授職およびHZBでの常任職を得ることを目指して、多くの若手研究者がドイツまたはヨーロッパの資金提供団体を通じて資金提供を受けることを支援します。

Climate change poses serious challenges to the whole world. At Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, we research materials for a climate-neutral future. 1200 employees from all over the world work together at HZB towards this goal. Join us, and help us achieve it!

【Opportunities for early career researchers from Japan】
HZB is a bilingual center with internationally-diverse research groups in which scientific programmes and activities are conducted in English. It is embedded in the vibrant Berlin-Brandenburg academic landscape and offers fully funded positions and excellent conditions for PhD candidates (funded for 4 years) and postdocs, for whom a comprehensive range of support structures is available. Furthermore, HZB can function as host for outstandingly qualified young scientists, who wish to establish young Investigator groups funded through German or European funding bodies with the aim to qualify for a university professorship and a permanent position at HZB.
