The Broadway-bound production of Lerner and Loewe's classic musical Gigi, directed by Eric Schaeffer, begins performances at the Kennedy Center on January 16. High School Musical veteran Vanessa Hudgens stars as the title character, who comes of age in turn-of-the-20th-century Paris. Hudgens performs opposite Corey Cott, Victoria Clark, Dee Hoty, Howard McGillin, and Stephanie Leigh, who lead the cast of the musical, which boasts a brand-new book by Heidi Thomas. TheaterMania chatted with the cast and creative team behind the "revisal," all of whom gushed over their leading lady and are eagerly anticipating their turn on the Great White Way.
