As the sun lowers to the horizon, WSOR T003 (Manifest from Janesville to Horicon) rumbles eastbound on WSOR's Waukesha Subdivision with 94 cars being powered by three EMD SD40 types on Thursday, August 30th, 2018. The jointed rail on this line will likely be removed within the next few years and replaced with 115 pound continuous ribbon rail, and track speed will be increased to 40 MPH from the now 25 MPH. The train is seen passing Landmark Cooperative, one of the many grain and fertilizer customers that the WSOR serves. This particular co-op unfortunately sees a pretty low volume of service, as I have spotted it only one time on my T004 train that comes from Horicon down this way in the morning.
