Uniquely Mānoa Program Highlight : KRS 443 (PLAY)
One of the most unique programs on the UH Mānoa campus is called PLAY = Physical Literacy & Activity for Youth.
PLAY is program component of KRS (Kinesiology) 443 and gives current UHM students an opportunity to work with an array of kids, including those with physical disabilities. The main goal of the program is to help students with special needs interact with neurotypical peers, interact in large spaces and develop motor skill competency through activities mirrored after PE classes specially adapted for the program.
