Scanning TCP scans

One of the more common and popular ports scanning techniques is the TCP half-open port scan, sometimes referred to as an SYN scan. It's a fast and sneaky scan that tries to find potential open ports on the target computer. SYN packets request a response from a computer, and an ACK packet is a response. In this video, I demonstrate how to perform TCP connect and Stealth scanning and how they differ in terms of speed and detection. Nmap is a free and open-source network scanner created by Gordon Lyon. Nmap is used to discover hosts and services on a computer network by sending packets and analyzing the responses. Nmap provides a number of features for probing computer networks, including host discovery and service and operating system detection.
