When Ira and the gang track the Genus to Rome, they must leave the bustling grandeur of the city behind and travel into the bowels of the earth - hunting the purple menace through labyrinthine catacombs and getting separated along the way. Fortunately, our heroes are reunited in time to face the Genus in a no-holds-barred gladiatorial battle to the devolution!

A meteor crashes in the desert, bearing single-celled alien organisms that evolve into monstrous creatures determined to replace all life on Earth with their kind. It’s up to the eccentric, irreverent scientists Ira Kane and Harry Block – with a little help from Lt. Lucy Mai, teenage wannabe fireman Wayne Green and the odiferous alien tracker, Gassie – to stop the “Genus” and its devious humanoid manifestation, Scopes, before life as we know it goes the way of the dinosaurs. Based on the blockbuster film by director Ivan Reitman (“Ghostbusters”, “Meatballs”, “Kindergarten Cop”, “Space Jam”, etc).
