THE EUC helmet | Unboxing the Vega air GPX

In this video, I’m unboxing a brand new helmet that looks almost identical to the one I already ride with every day — because when something works, I don’t mess around.

This is the Vega Air GPX, and I love it.
I love it.
I love it.

Why? Because it’s the only helmet in the electric unicycle space that does something no other full-face helmet does properly:
👉 a full-face helmet with an open mouth design. (obviously helmets are a subjective thing so what’s perfect for me may not be perfect for you. Some people prefer style some people prefer more ratings for safety. Some people prefer better, visibility and lighter helmets… but I’ve been around the block and after trying a bunch of different ideas this one came to me like something out of a dream. That means you can:

• Eat
• Talk clearly
• Or even vape if that’s your thing

Personally, eating anything serious can be a little tricky since it presses into my cheeks while chewing — but for light snacks or hydration, it’s no problem at all. And the freedom it gives you while riding? Game-changing.

Since I didn’t want to rebuy all my gear, I stripped the accessories off my old helmet and transferred everything over to this new one. And if a helmet is going to be ride-viable for me, there are a few non-negotiables:

My helmet must-haves:
• A solid front lighting source (brake light is cool, but optional for me)
• A reliable comms unit
• And a mirror from Pidzoom — mandatory
