Black Hills RV Life & Custer State Park 4K

This week we say goodbye to the breathtaking Grand Teton National Park 🏔️ and start our journey east toward the legendary Black Hills of South Dakota. After a quick overnight stop near Casper, WY 🛻, we finally roll into South Dakota and set up at Black Hills RV Resort. Sounds simple, right? Well… not quite! 😅 We ended up with the most unlevel campsite we’ve ever had. It took Mike and Rob over an hour of hard work (and some wood blocks generously supplied by the camp host 🙌) just to get the RV level and ready to go.

Once we were finally set, it was time to explore! 🌲 We headed to Custer State Park and took on the Sylvan Lake Trail, a beautiful and easy 1-mile hike around one of the prettiest lakes in the park. The scenery did not disappoint! 🥾💦

This is just the start of our Black Hills adventures—stick around, because next week we’ll be visiting the iconic Mount Rushmore 🇺🇸 and diving deeper into everything this amazing area has to offer.
