총 20,000Km(40일) 중 뉴욕-워싱턴-보스턴-나이아가라-시카고-매디슨 카운티-내슈빌-마이애미-키 웨스트-올랜도-뉴 올리온스-휴스턴-산타페-세도나-Grand Canyon 까지 이제 지구 둘레의 약 1/4이 넘는 11,400Km를 달렸다

Grand Canyon 은 Arizona주의 북부에 있는 거대한 협곡으로Colorado 강의 오랜 침식작용으로 계곡의 암벽을 계속 깍아 내려 생긴 곳인데 폭은 6~30Km 깊이는 1,500m 길이는 자그마치 447Km 에 이른다
해발은 2,100m 로 한라산 보다 높다
North Rimm 과 South Rimm 으로 나뉘는데 우리는 South Rim 을 올랐다
일몰과 일출 광경에 모두들 감탄사를 날린다~
Bright Angel trailhead 코스를 내려 가보니 먼 옛날 인디언들이 만들어 놓은 길이 초원 위에 아름답게 펼쳐져 있다
‘Navajo 족’이 쌓아 놓은 그랜드캐년 전망대 ‘Pipe Creek Vista’에서 바라본 계곡과 콜로라도 강이 멋지다~^*
콜로라도 강물에 손을 담가보지 못한 아쉬움을 뒤로 하고 거대한 말발굽 모양의 Horseshoe Bend 로 향합니다~^*

Out of a total of 20,000 Km (40 days), New York-Washington-Boston-Niagara-Chicago-Madison County-Nashville-Maiami-Key West-Olando-New Orleans-Houston-Santafe-Sedona-Grand Canyon now ran 11,400 Km, more than a quarter of the globe.

Grand Canyon is a huge canyon in the northern part of Arizona, formed by continuing to cut down the rock walls of the valley due to the long erosion of the Colorado River, with a width of 6-30 km and a depth of 1,500 km.
It's 2,100m above sea level, higher than Hallasan Mountain.
It is divided into North Rim and South Rim, and we climbed South Rim.
Everyone exclaims at the sunset and sunrise.
When I went down the Bright Angel Trailhead course, the roads made by Indians in the distant past spread beautifully on the meadow.
The valley and Colorado River from the Grand Canyon Observatory "Pipe Creek Vista" piled up by the "Navajo" are wonderful.^*
Leaving behind the regret of not being able to soak our hands in the Colorado River, we head to the Horseshoe Bend in the shape of a giant horseshoe.^*
