Take the Gladstone Arms, a longstanding pub south of London Bridge now operated by Megha Khanna, serving up excellent pours and pub fare with a terrific Indian twist. The “desipub” trend is alive and well in London, and Gladstone Arms is part of that growth.

We met up at the Gladstone Arms for some nosh with Susan Allen, an entrepreneur who with her partner Tara Chandra launched the organic feminine products line Here We Flo. The number one takeaway from that experience? We know that organic, natural ingredients are best for our bodies. Most tampons and feminine hygiene products, however, are NOT natural. Synthetic, plastic, and not good for us. What you put in your own body should matter. Here We Flo is setting the new standard for feminine hygiene. Ingredient labels on the packaging? Yes PLEASE.

We see no problem whatsoever with a conversation about tampons while eating and drinking our hearts out. And neither should you.
